No Anime No Life: PanColle pt. 2 (a.k.a. Attack on bitches pt. 2)

So the newly formed fleet went on another mission but Zuikaku screwed up and almost hit by a torpedo. Kaga voluntarily saved her but as expected from an arrogant bitch she acted like "I was only doing my job, no need to thank me for it".

She was hit but not sunk though.

At this point I'm still divided between still liking Kaga or bitching her (it's all this anime's fault). Since Kaga needs a lengthy repair due to the level of damage she sustained (and quick repair was unavailable due to a certain circumstance) it left a temporary vacant position in the fleet. Someone needs to fill in immediately, of which Fubuki, being the fleet's flagship was OK with Shoukaku temporarily replacing Kaga while she is undergoing repair.

This is perhaps yet another effed up episode, added with the absence of ZKMS again but good thing Kaga (the bitch version in this anime) didn't get much screentime. With another mission is waiting for them the fleet prep themselves and nobody seems to be questioning Shoukaku's ability.

For the sake of hiding the Admiral's face they had Nagato conveying the orders indirectly even in the office? The hell??!!

And I still don't get it why do they want to hide the Admiral so much it feels very silly. Sometimes I think the Admiral is Stephen Hawking Nagato is his interpreter. I know making the Admiral appeared as a character probably would turn this into harem anime, something the anime maker might want to avoid. However making it this way is like making the Admiral incapable of doing his job. Isn't an Admiral supposed to be a very important person in a fleet and also a very capable person?

I don't get what is Mutsu's actual role other than being next to Nagato all the time. In fact Ooyodo does more stuff than her.

Their concern about this particular mission is the enemy might have intercepted their communication thus might lead the mission into failure. Everybody in the fleet was advised to be extra careful because the enemy might do something they never expected.

It's unconfirmed though whether the enemy really did know their plan but the first attack was so easy that Fubuki decided to move forward while leaving the 2 carriers behind, assuming the situation was already under control. She did not realize that they already fell under the enemy's trap. It was the enemy's plan to separate the carriers from the fleet and attack them later.

PanColle

Good thing Fubuki quickly realized that they were after a wrong target. They arrived just in time to Zuikaku and Shoukaku's rescue when those two were under heavy attack and tried to make their way out of it. The enemy received heavy damage and retreated. That's it. Simple story telling if you ask me. The battle was intense but they really need to fix the plot/story. I'm getting tired and somewhat scared to watch new anime after years being served with shits repeatedly.
